The Amateur Collector here.
This adventure I open up the first IVth Gen TCG merchandise for this adventure so far, the Hitmonchan Triple blister Pack, bought from Magic Madhouse for £9.95.
Call of Legends is a great set that I have eagerly been wanting to open for a long time now. I have an entire booster box to open still, but for the time being I can make do with this blister pack.
As usual click here to watch the pack opening video or scroll down to see the images of the contents of this merchandise.
Here is the blister pack packaging. A Little beat up from being in storage for over a year.
The contents are safe though!
the main draw to this blister pack is the promo; HGSS24 Hitmonchan! It's actually a reprint with an alternate holographic pattern (shard holo as opposed to the non-holo background it usually has).
Why exactly they decided to make a reprint for the Black Star Collection instead of a new alternate art I'm not sure, but it is not the first time they've done this (other cards in the Black Star HGSS series and Black Star BW series have done the same)
I got one reverse-holo rare, this Clefable from Call of Legends.
I got two holographic rares from Call of Legends. I have the Magmortar already, but who cares! It looks awesome!
And yet another holo card from this blister pack, this time a Drifblim from the Platinum: Supreme Victors set.
A cool set that I'd like to eventually get more of.
So as you can tell this was a VERY good opening. Three holos out of three booster packs? That's a fantastic pull rate no matter what, and that's not even counting the reverse-holographic card.
Well, what a great adventure that one was. Guys, stay tuned for the next adventure! See ya!
